| One problem is that the crickets grow faster than the chameleons, these crickets are already too big for these babies. |
| I put the babies in a dark room during the day and then leave them under outside lights at night to eat a variety of wild insects. |
| They definitely have insect favorites and I have seen them ignore many species of insect and favor certain ones. |

| I was disappointed and surprised that they often ignore small moths (there are lots available). They eat them sometimes, but usually prefer small fly-like bugs. Any small green insect is actively hunted & devoured quickly. |

| Another big set back this week. I lost 90% of my babies in the middle of the night to a fire ant attack. This is the first time it happened to me. I'm going to put up a vaseline barrier to try and keep them out. Only two survived this batch out of 20 |
